Le Trou Electronique is a collective with many different line-ups. In "Verbatim" the founding trio (Nicola Marsura, Ruben Rossi and Andrea Gava) is joined by three other talented musicians (Francesco Peccolo, Dike Ruan and Federico "Tich" Gava).
This expanded line up is a creature feeded with radical improvisation: six musicians with different backgrounds who gather to test their listening and playing skills, creating a very dense sonic environment.
In April 2019 they all met for a three days long recording session at Tich Studios (Treviso). Then they selected the most interesting and powerful music from the vaste pool of sounds that was recorded.
The result is this one hour long trip. Hope you'll enjoy it!
"Verbatim" in latin means "a word by word transcription" and it was used for describing the exact copy from a text to another, or from a speech to a text, without no modification. "Verbatim" is a faithful translation of Le Trou Electronique performace printed into these recordings.
All the songs in "Verbatim" are free improvisations.
Recorded live at Tich Studios (TV, Italy) by Federico "Tich" Gava.
Mixed and mastered by Andrea Gava and Federico Gava.
